Sadly, due to weather, Mr. Newhouse and I decided to cancel the canoe trip. However, I sent an email out to everyone regarding a few options for future events. I'm so very sorry that isn't going to work out!
Speaking of apologies, I am ALSO sorry I took absolutely NO pictures at the TEACH testing day! I brought my camera, but never put to use, so I am so very sorry that I have no pictures, but I will remember next time! The good news is that Meagan took plenty, so that's not so much of a problem ;).
I think, as Andrew said in the email, an evening of games/getting to know each other would be a blast! We could have everyone bring a snack or something to share....and just a thought, maybe we should do something indoors (volleyball, etc.), so that it's not so dependent on the weather. Any ideas where could we do something like that? And, back to the last post from Noah, we could maybe decide on or come up with some ideas for a class verse, motto, and song. Just some ideas.... :) Any thoughts?

That sounds like fun, but I will be busy that evening. We could do it in the morning/early afternoon, or you could certainly do it without me too :P. You should post the pictures on here! (If you don't mind..) :)

DeleteI think that sounds like a great idea also. I am game for indoor or out door games. However, I think that it still can be pleasant enough this time of year that, if possible, some out door games would be good since indoor games can be played during the winter.

DeleteTim - Yeah, out door games would be fun since we only have so much longer until it's way too cold. Maybe we should do it somewhere where we can be indoor or outdoor, in case the weather is bad (no idea where that would be!) ;-) It would be fun to get together this winter for indoor games too.
DeleteUnfortunately, I have no idea either where a good place would be. Hopefully someone else has an idea. By the way, did you ever figure out someone you could carpool with or a way to get a ride into the cities?
