Game Night: Change of Plan
OK, so we are gonna have make a change in plans for two reasons, first off, I still haven't heard back from the big man, second, not enough people are available on Saturday. However, I would REALLY like us to get together for some fun before winter makes it impossible. So, comment here what days work for you... please ;)

ReplyDeleteI was wondering if anyone would be interested in Helping with Christmas with Dignity.
It's basically a program to help the parents in Minneapolis give
their kids have a decent Christmas. People donate toys and other stuff
to us and we prepare it for "selling" where people come and buy it at
about 90% off the regular price. That way the are able to give their
children gifts that they bought and still leave them with their
dignity (hence the name ;) )
. It's really neat to be able to help these people, and though we
wouldn't be with the people that are influenced by it, we still get to
help a lot(Kinda like the inside job :P) Anyways, so that starts
November 2nd, and goes on through Till December i believe. The website

could help with that, IF anyone wants to. :)
I think that sounds like a good idea....maybe something to do in December?
DeleteI think it goes into early December until maybe the 10th? I'm not sure though. We could do it on a Friday or something. I'm not sure if they do it on Saturdays...
DeleteOK, I'm glad we're changing the date because it ends up someone asked me to babysit that day. The 9th won't work for me, we're butchering turkeys (again) and it's deer season opener. The 30th for sure won't work, and probably not the 23rd either....that leaves the 16th, but it all depends on if I've gotten my deer or not by then.....since it's the day before season closes. So possibly the 16th....if you all pray I get my deer before then! :D Are we pretty much only looking at Saturday's here?

DeleteAre Saturday's pretty much the only options? It looks like my Saturday's in in November, other than this Saturday, are looking kind of full. Oops, I did mean to post that this Saturday works for me; but I guess it doesn't matter since it does not work for allot of other people. Any way with deer season starting up I generally try to go hunting with my dad on Saturday's since he works during the week, although after the first weekend of the season I might be able to make a Saturday work. The Saturdays around Thanksgiving I am not sure if I will be home or not, so those days might not work. I am available on most weekdays. I have class on Wednesday mornings, but other than that school is pretty flexible, especially if we do something in the evening. How do peoples weekdays work?
ReplyDeleteMy weekdays (if it's afternoon/evening so I'm done with school) work most of the time - Wednesday and Thursday afternoons don't work, but otherwise I'm open. Might work better than a weekend since my weekends are usually packed.
