Game Night

Over the last couple days, I have been getting many emails asking about this so called "game night." And, unfortunately, I can neither confirm nor deny the rumors of one being planned as I type this...

All I can say is this - keep the afternoon and evening of November 2nd open on your calendars and think about your favorite (both outdoor and indoor) games... because something might just happen... maybe... but you didn't hear that from me... in fact, you heard (or read) nothing at all.

  1. I think we need to figure out whhhhere we could have something like this? We are butchering turkeys November 2nd (hey, how about a turkey butchering day, anyone!??!...only 40 of them or something!).....but I might still be able to make it in the evening, depending on how far away it is. In the cities could *possibly* work since I could stay with my Grandma, she lives in Apple Valley. And my favorite indoor game is volleyball (although that can be out door too). Other ideas...soccer, ultimate frisbee......but the main thing is where we could do this. I, for one, have no idea. ;) Isn't that helpful!?

    1. Helpful indeed :) I am trying to think of games that would involve turkeys and/or turkey guts, but I haven't thought of any yet? :)

  2. I don't know about a game night being planned (boy if someone is planning one I sure hope they tell me :) ). All I know is that someone had suggested it and several of us had agreed that it sounded like a great idea. I think, like Emily said, that we need to figure out where a good location would be, before we can really lay down any solid plans.

  3. Yessir! I have a location in mind which would be a good host for both outdoor and indoor games, however I have yet to hear back from a few people, including mr. Newhouse before I can set anything in stone.
